Vuokko Laiten is the young high priest of Conn at Dulwich’s Lawgiver’s Hall, having succeeded Taistro Rintala while still in her twenties. Her office places her among the town’s prominent religious figures, with responsibilities extending from leading worship to representing the temple in community affairs. She serves a faith centered on family, community, and rulership, supported by fellow priest Mikael Tuntia and the temple’s attendants and guards. Her youth makes her appointment particularly notable in a town where established interests and longstanding relationships carry considerable influence.

She hopes to support her studies through paid expedition work, offering her knowledge and magical abilities to those willing to employ her. Though curious about what lies beyond town, Asta is cautious about danger and readily admits that her practical experience has yet to catch up with her reading.
