Olli Vartanen is a young porter in Dulwich who earns his living hauling supplies for woodland work crews and accompanying travelers with more baggage than they can comfortably carry. Strong, attentive, and good with pack animals, he takes pride in securing loads properly and keeping equipment dry and organized. His easygoing manner makes him pleasant company on the road, although he becomes firm when someone expects an animal to carry too much. Olli is willing to defend himself when necessary, but he makes his terms clear: he is hired to carry supplies and help maintain camp, and expects additional pay for unusually dangerous work.
